Zhi-adren: But trying to "zip it up"
with Synthyroid or something like that is going to make you
dependent on the stuff and soon your thyroid will
be under-active on its own!
This formula is 60% Ling Zhi which is explained in detail here.
The rest of the formula contains Elothrou Ginseng root (Ci Wu Jia) Chinese
Wild Yam (Shan Yao) and Cornus fruit (Shan Zhu Yu) These herbs work
together to “re-light” the body’s ability to make its own steroids. It
also supports the liver in its so very complex job of working as our
“built in chemical lab” to supply the blood with what it needs when it
needs it. For this reason, the Chinese refer to the liver as “the general”
in the chain of commend. Please note that if you have been on
synthetic thyroid meds for a few years it will be very hard at first but
you can make your way back. Sometimes you can wean of the drugs in a month
or less while taking a
formula like this but this is very unpredictable. It is best to just
forget combining drugs with herbs. You will be defeating your purpose if
you try to stay on drugs as well. Anemia:
A formula and protocol for
Adrenal Fatigue and Hypothyroid Also see Yellow
Qui: (below) an iron building formula for anemia which often
accompanies these conditions.
Please note:
The
descriptions below are from the Traditional Chinese and or "Folk Medicine"
use of herbs provided for
information and not intended to replace advice from a medical doctor or to
replace any drugs that are FDA approved.
Adrenal fatigue and many cases of hypothyroid are greatly
helped with this TCM formula we call Zhi-adren based on Ling Zhi. The
adrenals will respond well and began “waking up” much of the
endocrine system including the thyroid.
Usually when women (sometimes men) have an under-active thyroid
it is not due to the thyroid itself but due to the liver not being able to
process hormones and other chemicals correctly for the thyroid gland.....
so yes, the thyroid is under-active...... Kind of like an engine running
out of fuel or trying to run on bad fuel.
Reishi (60% of
Zhi-adren) is the only known source of a group of triterpenes known as
ganoderic acids, which have a molecular structure very similar to
steroid hormones. This would explain why
it is such a powerful adrenal fatigue remedy. Please read
more about this amazing herb by clicking
here. As
an effective TCM protocol, Zhi-adren is taken with a patent for
balance called "6 Flavor Tea Pills"
You do not have to be dependent on
external sources of potentially dangerous hormones and other synthetic
chemicals. By restoring your
body’s ability to make its own steroids, you won’t ever have to worry
about the consequences of over medication. When the right plant sources
(food or herbal medicine) are applied your body has its own mechanism to
make just the right amount. That mechanism is defeated when your doctor
gives you hormones. Your system basically gets lazy and shuts down waiting
for its drug fix.
Please
remember; the descison is always yours. Do not ever
let the "medical system" make descisons for you. Time and time
again their descisons are only based on the pushing of drugs from the
industry.
If anemia is also involved we recommend adding our
Yellow Qi formula along with an iron rich diet containing black strap
molasses from your health food store. I have seen a lot of formulas with
all the vitamins and iron and isolated stuff you could imagine! However
this strong Tincture of Yellowdock Root and Dang Gui has brought more
deficient iron levels up to
normal then anything I have ever seen. Let's take a look at these two
herbs:
Yellowdock:
Yes, there is a
healthy amount of iron in Yellowdock root, but the iron content is not what does it! I have always
noticed that when we use whole plants (nothing isolated) as medicine, we
take on the plants abilities in some way. The reason Yellowdock has so
much iron in it is because of its ability to attract it from the earth and
assimilate it so well. So it is not so much the iron in the plant but why
the plant has so much! We still need to feed the body iron rich foods but
we can now assimilate it into our blood much, better thanks to
Yellowdock And with the addition of Dang
Gui this action is extremely
amplified.
Dang Gui:
As a blood tonic, Dang Gui is incomparable. Few herbs
are as safe or as potent as blood tonics. It is commonly used by millions
of people in China to treat common anemia. It can be used after an
illness, injury or surgery to rebuild red blood cells and to increase
blood volume. It is very commonly used by women to build blood due to
cycles. However men as well as women benefit from strong
blood.
